Partners, Funders and Sponsors SongBird
was a not-for-profit project, and later a registered society. Support
from foundations, corporations, local business, government and non-governmental
organisations, from individuals, and the community made our work
possible. The primary producer of SongBird events from the beginning until 2001, Savage Media played an indespensible role in SongBird's emergence and success and Savage Media's Artistic Director Nelson Gray was co-director of the SongBird project until 2001. Performer, composer, and Curator of New Music for the Western Front, DB Boyko was the insighful and indispensible Music Director for the SongBird Oratorio from the beginning of the project. A very

the beginning of SongBird and worked with us through the 5 years

Birds Unlimited for his consistent support, and to our longtime partners on the annual Dawn Chorus - the wonderful members of the Vancouver Natural History Society - now Nature Vancouver - who each May generously led the SongBird community listening site bird counts.
